The Final app idea

The application is a video based app that is designed to make people more aware on the law and the consequences surrounding alcohol. This app will give information on the effects of alcohol abuse by highlighting;

• The law on drinking
• The effect alcohol can have on the human body
• Situations that could get the user into trouble

The app will contain an information page that will allow the user to input, if they are male or female and allow them to input there age, depending on the information the user gives one of four scenarios will be played these scenarios will be;

1. Male under 18
2. Female under 18
3. Male 18 and over
4. Female 18 and over

Each scenario will bring up different situations that will be relevant to that specific category for example, for a Male who is under 18 years of age the scenario will contain videos relating to situations they may encounter such as, peer pressure, violence etc.

The app will start with a single video, which will leave the user with a decision to make via a 'decision page', the next video that will be played will depend on the choice that the user made.

These decision pages will contain facts that will be randomly generated from a database, this will give the user more information on drinking and alcohol abuse. The app is not designed to scare the user into not drinking, it is designed to make the user more informed giving them a chance to make more of an informed choice.

Once a choice has resulted in a negative outcome (i.e. getting arrested) or the scenario has run its course, then the app will end with a personality page that will tell the user about how they act and give a suggestion to what a better choice would have been. On this page the user will be given a lot of information about alcohol.
